I managed to find some time to look through photos from my trip to New York City from last summer and it brightened my mood, so I thought I’d share them. The manual focus 35 mm film camera is quite a shift from my DSLR, but I can’t wait to master it…eventually. A couple weeks ago, my friends and I were driving around the city and stumbled upon big groups of people walking in the same direction, carrying lanterns. That could only mean one thing—it was the night of Atlanta’s annual lantern parade on the BeltLine. Although we were lantern-less, we decided that we had to join in on all the fun.  A couple weeks ago, my friends and I were driving around the city and stumbled upon big groups of people walking in the same direction, carrying lanterns.
